Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has sp@rked widespre@d reactions after offering a powerful prayer against individuals he says are contributing to Nigeria’s growing insecur!ty cr!ses.

In a recent post on his Facebook, the cleric shared a heartfelt prayer, calling on Allah to pun!sh those responsible for v!0lence and bl00dshEd in the country, he said:

“Ya Allah! Whoever initiated or is behind this insecur!ty and bl00dbath in Nigeria, whether foreign or citizen, or has any benefit, material or otherwise, or is even happy that people are being k!ll3d, or willingly did nothing to stop it, may by your divine power be exp0sed and your @nger poured upon them and pun!shed immediately without h@rm to the inn0cent. Amin. Say Amin!”

The post drew mixed reactions, many expressed support, while others questioned his honest position to curb the country’s secur!ty ch@llenges.

One commenter wrote, “Anyone who in one way or another supported the enem!es of Nigeria, aka ‘Band!ts,’ will not see the End of this year.” Sheikh Gumi responded, “Amin to all the enem!es of Nigeria, band!ts included. Ok. Say Ameen to my prayer too!”

Sheikh Gumi is known for his controvers!al stance on band!try, defend!ng band!t groups and negotiating for their surrEnder, which has earned him both critic!sm and praise.
